Stuff like this comment? This is the shit I say when I’m at home and my filter is totally turned off. I say awful, sexist, racist, mean, nasty shit. Do I actually mean any of it? No. I look at as some form of extreme satire, and the fact that I have a partner who finds it funny, too - well, that just encourages me to say it out loud to him. I never know what he’s going find funny and blog - most of the time I’m being deliberately stupid just to amuse myself. Thankfully, he judges his audience well and doesn’t blog the really wrong shit I say. Just the kind-of wrong shit. So, consider this a sort of disclaimer - if anything in SMGS offends you, you’ve been warned.
Reblogging for many reasons, but mostly because I just love the fact that there’s another level of even less-filtered Erin that we aren’t getting.
Am I the same guy IRL that I am on Twitter/Tumblr? Yes and no.
Yes: I highly recommend not fucking with my friends or being truly mean to people I like.
No: most of the really bizarre “Did he really just say that?” shit is stuff that just comes into my mind, and now I have a place to share them. Aren’t you lucky. (My guess is that my wife is the truly lucky one, since she doesn’t have to hear so much of it live, although she frequently gets the original and if it makes her laugh, I post it.)
