Audible.com offers a free download of David Foster Wallace’s essay “Consider The Lobster”.

I listened to it a couple of years ago and found it very interesting. Thought you might too. If you’ve never read anything by him, it’s an easy entry point. Versus, say, spending the whole summer reading his epic tome. Which I totally would have done if I didn’t have a bunch of required reading to do this summer.

(It’s the entire essay, but it’s an excerpt of a larger collection of essays they have by him, so they call it an excerpt. Confused yet?)
