Tales of Being TJ, rebooted

“Tales of Being TJ” was begun with the intention of making it a place where I wrote longer, personal pieces.

Almost immediately I screwed that up by using it as “Much like FunSizeBytes, but different… in poorly defined ways.” So much so that even I wasn’t sure what the difference was between them.

I went through an deleted a bunch of posts, leaving only those I didn’t want to reblog or delete but felt were still worth reading.

Merlin put into words something I had been thinking, which is that I, too, would like to hear more personal stories from people. Which isn’t to say that no one is doing that (I follow some folks who do, on a fairly regular basis), just to recognize that there are a lot of people who don’t; people who I think “I bet [name] has some interesting stories to tell.”

I’d like to read some of those.

As always, you are free to use the Tumblr however you’d like, and I still enjoy the vast majority of stuff I see on my Dashboard. This isn’t a wish for an “instead of” but rather “in addition to.”

I would expect that “Tales of Being TJ” (TOBTJ) would be a very low volume, with a handful of posts a week at most.
