John McCain, badly out of step with the “new” Republican Party.
A) I love the thing that McCain does with his eyebrows when he’s taking back the microphone from someone who just said something stupid. It’s like his trigger to say “Ok John, don’t call this person a dumbfuck even if they are.
B) Jiminy. You know, I’m glad that Obama won, but here’s McCain showing some of that class that we only-too-rarely saw at the end of the campaign. “You know what, we see things differently, but I think he’s a smart guy and he is the president SO LET’S SHOW SOME RESPECT.”
Senator McCain, sir, I may not always agree with you, but you have my respect.
Here’s a man who realizes that people with different opinions are not “the enemy” but “people with different opinions.”
The country could use a lot more of those.
