Columbus Tweetup: "Farukapaloosa"?

Dear People In/Under/Around Columbus, Ohio:

Faruk will be in our area around October 1st/2nd/3rd.

October 1st is his birthday, but since that is a Thursday, I would like to suggest that either Friday (October 2) or Saturday (October 3) we hold an inaugural Columbus, Ohio Tweetup (tentatively called “Farukapaloosa”… and by “tentatively” I mean, no, really, that’s what I’m going to keep calling it.)

Interested in being a part of it? Help us choose a date by answering here and letting us/me know:

  1. “Either Friday OR Saturday is OK.”
  2. “Friday YES but Saturday NO.”
  3. “Friday NO but Saturday YES.”
  4. “Friday is BETTER but I could do Saturday”
  5. “I could do Friday but Saturday is BETTER.”

Suggestions for WHERE we might gather are also welcome.

(NOTE: OSU plays Indiana at 7pm on Saturday, but it’s an away game. I assume this means that the city will be useable that night.)

Also, if you are in the Pittsburgh/Columbus/Cincinnati/Indianapolis/Chicago area and could host Faruk overnight let him know here.
