You may remember that I posted about this sign back in August in a weepy, sentimental look back at my youth and thinking about my Dad.
Not long after that, Beau (also on the twitter) wrote in to tell me: “…you may have already heard this, but the store is not closed. If you were there last weekend, it would have been closed for the day when the Sox were on the road. When the Sox are home, the store is open. I love that old sign, and have taken a lot of photos of it myself, which is why I noticed.”
Due to a technical glitch, I didn’t see the email until today. I was very happy to know it’s not closed. There is no rationale for that emotion, but, well, there it is.
