I like you all way too much…
… to post a picture of my navel right now. Yikes, dudes.
A related fun fact: my doctor called today. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him after the surgery yesterday, so I got to ask him my questions today. For example,
My voice: “So I see you couldn’t use my C-section scar.”
His voice: “Funny, that. I’ve done this procedure thousands of times and I’ve never seen anything like it. How tall are you?”
Me: “5’10”.”
Him: “Well, you see that the lower incisions are above your C-section incision and the higher incision, which I typically tuck right under the breast bone, is somewhat lower on you. I have to tell you, you have the longest toreso I’ve ever worked on. My instruments weren’t long enough to reach the field if I had gone in your existing scar.”
Me: “So I get an asterisk for a freakishly long toreso? Well that’s something.”
Him: “No. I kept it out of my operative notes, but I’ve never had a situation where my instruments weren’t long enough.”
Me:
“Ok.” And that goes on my list of @jsttmfb oddities! Ta-da!
Your torso is so long it even has more letters than everyone else’s :-)
Glad you’re doing better!
