First of all: 100 stars for “butthurt revenue source”

Secondly: Why would I make a list of people I don’t follow? If I want to see what they post… why wouldn’t I just… follow them?

“People I would follow but I know they won’t follow me back so I’m going to put them in a list over here so they are clearly not as important to me as people who follow me back”?

I guess I could see “People I’d follow but they are WAY too chatty to put into my feed”…

I could also see “People I think I might want to follow but given the raging butthurt that goes on when someone unfollows someone else, maybe I’ll just put them on a list… except that they can see that someone put them on a list, and ‘Oh so I’m not good enough to follow but I’m good enough to list?”“

And then I got tired from overthinking it all and decided to take a nap.
