HELP
I have a CD stuck in my Mac Book Pro and can’t get it out!
Try restarting while holding down the mouse button. If that doesn’t work, there’s a small hole in the slot - either far left or far right, I don’t have one here - and you can put a straightened paper clip in to make it slide out.
Hope that helps.
The new MacBook Pros don’t have the paperclip hole.
Deep breath.
It will be ok.
I don’t know why they did away with that paperclip hole, but my MacBook doesn’t have one either.
Keep trying. You’re right, the label is probably what it causing the problem, but if it is still spinning, you might catch it at just the right angle and it will come out.
If not, it can be fixed by a Professional.
It will be OK.
This is the Achilles heel of the Mac laptops: the slot loading CD/DVD drive is slick, until something gets stuck. Then it sucks.
