OK, so the “Tumblr API Lead” emailed me back after my complaint last week about Tumblr lying to me about being able to use xAuth.

Long story short, xAuth wouldn’t have helped as much as I thought it would.

I don’t know jack squat about OAuth. Do you? If so, I could use your help.

I have successfully acquired all these things

• OAuth Consumer Key
• OAuth Consumer Secret
• User Token
• User Secret

However, I do not know how to use them with curl on the command line.

I found curlicue (via Jack I think) but I can’t figure out how to make it work either.

If anyone is interested in helping me figure this out, please let me know. Because I hate the way IFTTT posts to SOTB.
