Before I start: Fuck Cancer.
My friend Cathy, in her late-twenties, and just married, was recently diagnosed with NETs. I told you about it. The diagnosis is what it is, but that doesn’t mean we can’t work hard - together - to give cancer a bit of the what for.
So! DC friends, Happy Hour is November 5th at Pound the Hill on Pennsylvania Avenue. Erik Holzherr (Wisdom, Church & State) is mixing up some awesome punch for the group, Karl Johnson (Pound the Hill) has opened his doors to us, and is helping with great Happy Hour deals, and the $10 donation goes to help give Cancer the Heave Ho, by supporting Unite Against NET which is Cathy’s campaign to raise awareness about NETs, and work with iCancer to get a new treatment option on the table.
If you’re in DC, come on out, you need to meet Cathy, she’s amazing.
If you’re not in DC, sign up at Unite Against NET and consider a gift to iCancer?

If “guest speakers who hate cancer” isn’t enough for you, then you’re pretty much hopeless. But send them $10 anyway.
