I assume you’ll send this along to Budweiser and all the other Super Bowl advertisers…

… or is it only people of faith who should give up their freedom of expression for noble causes?

The USA spends $6 billion a year on potato chips. Anyone want to make a white-on-black poster about that?

How about all you atheists give up Starbucks for a year and donate to these same noble causes? Or is it just easier to throw stones?

Is this just yet another attack on people expressing beliefs that you don’t agree with?

“Look at those lame people making an argument in support of their beliefs! I disagree with those beliefs! Those people should have given the money to the poor!”

(Not to mention that the Tebows story/commercial — which you haven’t seen but have already decided your opinion of it… pre + judge = what? oh right… prejudice — sounds like it actually makes them a champion of choice.)

I wouldn’t mind the criticism as much if it wasn’t so shallow.

In a world where most of us, including myself, rarely think about the so-called “third world” unless there’s a disaster, here’s a family who have taken their beliefs so seriously that they lived as missionaries in the Philippines, and raised a son who goes on mission trips over spring break instead of heading to Daytona Beach to get drunk all week. They’ve devoted their entire lives to helping others.

But hey. You made a jpg which has 430 notes on Tumblr.
