Listening to Zealot Gun Owners on the issue of gun control is the equivalent of trying to solve the problem of drunk driving by asking alcoholics to determine reasonable blood alcohol content limits.

The experiment with unfettered access to guns is a failure. It’s time to try something else.

And if you think your guns are going to be a defense against the government, it’s time to stop watching “Red Dawn” and recognize that the biggest threat to the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of an average citizen is not the government, it is a deranged white male with access to guns.

We need protection from you. Not more guns.
