r.1.6.1 cannot function properly with iPad.

Tumblr Gear 1.6.2 will not install on the iPad. This is the error it shows:

except that the iPad OS is up to date.

Does Tumblr Gear require iOS 4? If so, that isn’t supposed to be out for the iPad until sometime in the fall.

All of which is to say that Tumblr Gear on the iPad is currently broken.
