Dreamhost Sucks

Dreamhost, which is where I host some of the files for my Tumblr, decided today that what they mean by “Unlimited Bandwidth” is “A limit that we don’t publish so no one can know when they are going to exceed it” and shut down my account.

Not “decided that they needed to add capacity to fulfill their requirements to the contract that they agreed to by taking my money” but “shut down my account.”

I know that “unlimited” is bullshit.

You know “unlimited” is bullshit.

They know “unlimited” is bullshit.

But that doesn’t mean you can use the word without consequence or meaning.

Anyway, if you find a post here, especially one that includes video, that no longer works, that’s because Dreamhost sucks.
