“A good church man is always up in everybody’s shit. — Deacon” I think that may be the best line from The Wire, period. Related: I may need to cut back on my The Wire viewing. Why? Oh no reason. Certainly not because I saw a police car pull up and yelled out “Po Po!” as I surreptitiously emptied the contents of my pockets into the storm drain. Which prevented them from grabbing me up while carrying 3 cough drops, a Field Notes book, space pen, and some iPhone headphones. Then the light turned green, the police car drove away, and there I was looking like damn fool.
