This may be the first mind-fuck videos that I remember seeing. I wonder if this song could have been a hit without the accompanying video. But wow, what a bizarre little music film

The lead singer, Stan Ridgway, had a solo album that my brother made a tape (you know, a cassette tape? sigh Ask your parents) that I listened to on my “Walk-man” until it wore out.
