  • Been waiting since mid-July for insurance approval. Called Dr.’s office last week, was told: “still waiting” and that they had been in recent contact with the insurance company. Called Patient Care Advocate yesterday & put her on the case PCA called back today saying that insurance co. claims that they approved this SEPTEMBER 26TH and claims to have informed my provider. So basically I could have had this done a month ago and be most of the way through recovery now. And of course the woman who schedules procedures at my doctor’s office is out today and will “hopefully” be back in tomorrow. Because apparently there’s only one person in their office who knows how to use a calendar. Anyway… current status.
