Diana Krall - “Almost Blue”

Jenny mentioned Diana Krall singing at Neil Armstrong’s memorial, so I’ve been watching Diana Krall videos on YouTube.

I’ve been getting frustrated because there are a bunch of videos which are just people putting a bunch of crappy pictures over the song like some bad PowerPoint presentation, when what I was looking for was actual videos (like MTv used to play) or concert footage.

Well… this video is not an official video, nor is it concert footage. It shows photos from Sascha Hüttenhain of women, most of them nude. It’s actually pretty well done, IMO. Not to mention that it’s a great choice of subject for the song. Nice use of the plural entendre as the French probably don’t say.

If naked bodies offend your sensibilities, the official video is pretty good too. And it had Diana Krall in it.

Her voice makes me feel ways about things… so, so many ways about very many things.
